We are writing this a little bit late, but it worth to write for. I just want to promote Compaq's notebook for 1st quater of PC Fair, CQ42-177TX.

What's the hype?

This is something, right?

As you all know, LED display is quite expensive if without warranty you will be spending around RM800++ for the display. If you go to HP Service Center, you will be spending RM1000++ for it(just like buying one new netbook).

Design?

You'll be amazed by it look. Champagne gold casing, keyboard layout quite similar to MacPro. ???? If there is no 'Q' logo people will say it is a Mac.

Performance? Is it really good?

Windows 7 index it at 4.0. I've run Adobe Photoshop CS3 & Nero 8 installation 30% less time than the 2Gb DDR3 CQ42-208Au (AMD Turion II Dual Core Mobile Processor M520 2.3Ghz). I know, this is a Quad Core machine we're talking, yes, but because of Windows operating system only 2.79Gbs of RAM is used. Blame it on Windows, ok. But if it is a Mac, all 4Gb of RAM will be use. To me, for a Windows this by far a good machine.
