Event Choronology And Achievements

Through years of involvement in the telecommunication business, Utara Hati has go through up and down of the business world. Below are the chronology of events and achievements what has made Utara Hati what it is today:

2001
(i) Started the telecommunication business
2002
(ii) Mac - Managed to open second outlet in Kangar
(iii) August - Started new outlet in UiTM Perlis after successful in tender for shop rent with UiTM
2003
(i) Officially appointed as MAXIS authorised dealer
2004
(i) On the 3rd ranking MAXIS best performance dealer in Perlis
(ii) Managed to secure place in Maxis Dealers Convention for the first time, held at KL Hilton.
2005
(i) Still retaining 3rd best Maxis dealers in Perlis. Was put under category B dealers by Maxis.
(ii) Invited to join Maxis Dealers Convention for the 2nd time also held at KL Hilton.
2006
(i) MARA Perlis awarded Utara Hati Enterprise's director, Pn Surizah H Abdol Rahman, 'Best Entrepreneur 2006' (Trading Company Category)
(ii) a slight drop in Maxis best dealers in Perlis, but managed to be in the top 10. This was cause of aggressive competition in the business by old and news players of the business.
(iii) Joined Maxis Dealers Convention for the 3rd time at KL Hilton.
(iv) DiGi gave 'Silver' status as authorised dealer
(v) Celcom appointed Utara Hati as 'Prepaid Key Dealer'
2007
(i) Managed to buy own building at No 17, Lorong Medan Kangar, which is situated near domestic bus station, shopping complex and business centre area. It also the new head office replacing old office at 57, Main Road Lorong Belakang, Kangar.
(ii) Maintained as top 10 dealers in Perlis
(iii) Joined Maxis Dealers Convention for the 4th time at Genting Highland, and were in Maxis top 500 dealers in Malaysia.
(iv) MARA Perlis offered new shop lot at Plaza D'Mara, Kangar and accepted.
2008
(i) Successfully secured place in Maxis's 'Night Of Champions' held at KL Convention Centre.
(ii) Were at rank 380 best Maxis dealers in Malaysia as at June 2008
(iii) Started to join computers and peripherals business, still at a beginner's stage.
(iv) Started business at No 3, Plaza D'Mara Kangar
(v) Joined Maxis Dealers Convention for the 5th time at Genting Highland
2009
(i)  Appointed Maxis Broadband Reseller

2010

(i) Appointed Celcom Broadband Reseller

2011

(i) Appointed P1 Wimax Broadband Reseller

(ii) Successful to achieve target by P1 and invited to Dealers’ Convention at Holiday Villa, Glenmarie, Kuala Lumpur

(iii) Appointed Service Partner for P1 Wimax

2012

(i)  Appointed Payment Center for P1 Wimax

(ii) ‘Silver’ status DiGi reseller, regained.

(iii) Appointed YES 4G Broadband Reseller

2013

(i) Director, Puan Surizah, nominated for Perlis Best Entrepreneur by TEKUN Nasional (Government Body for Entrepreneurship) during National TEKUN Convention at PWTC 8^th February 2013

Company Profile: A brief Introduction

At first there was Utara Hati Sdn Bhd [425669-H] which was established in 1997. Consist of two business-bred Director's, Surizah H Abdol Rahman and Mohd Razli H Abdol Rahman. At that time, the company was concentrating on shoes, accessories and clothing line, operated in Kangar and Langkawi.
Only in january 2001, this company got involved in telecommunication business. it started out with it first outlet at G9, Kayangan Square Complex, Kangar. With Rm10,000 in hand, Utara Hati involved with the telecommunication sector as one of the earliest to join the business which was dominated by non-Malays enterprenuer, mostly Chinese (almost 100%).
Utara Hati settled for Amir Tele Shoppe as the company brand which is the name of the Director's first son.
'Bersama Anda Meniti Kemajuan Digital' settled for the company's tagline as a vision to move us and our customer to venture into the future of telecommunication services and informations technology. To achieve this statement, it is our commitment to help others interested in this line of business, to break the monopoly of business by other race and to have more people especially Malays to shop at Malays' shop.
In 2004, Utara Hati Sdn Bhd decided that it must separate its business accordingly by Director's skills and speciality. Then Utara Hati Enterprise was formed. Utara Hati Sdn Bhd (Mohd Razli) decided to concentrated in shoes, accessories and clothing line and Utara Hati Enterprise (Surizah) to continue the telecommunication business. The rest is history, as until this day Utara Hati Enterprise managed to be in Maxis's top 500 telecommunication dealers in Malaysia.
